Learning to ride the 2 wheel bicycle

Joel has learnt how to ride the 2 wheel bicycle over a weekend. After endless falling down from the bicycle and banging into walls and pillars with bruises on legs, hands and a dented basket, he got it! I must say, to learn it not only must the boys be "brave" to fall and the parents have also got to endure the "pain" of seeing them falling and banging. Now, all the older boys (Ryan learnt it sometime ago, Shukri, Jeremy n Sadiq have learnt how to ride the 2 wheel bicycle). Growing up with cousins about the same age has this "advantage", that is, as long as one starts to learn something new, everyone will just follows....how i wish this same "pattern" will be followed for studies! Hee hee Joel is more on the playful side. So, anything that is "play" type, Joel is very deterermined to learn it. But when it comes to studies, Joel does not like to sit for long to study. Oh well. will work on this.
Just to share a little more on why Joel start to learn the 2 wheel bicycle. During this past Chinese New Year Holiday, Ah Ma ( Grandmother" bought a bigger bicycle for Joel. When we bought this bicycle, it comes with 2 smaller wheels (don't know what it is call) attached to the bigger wheels. Joel was so happy with ridding it. In the evening, when San Yee (Aunt Ivy) came back from work, she decided to try riding the bicycle. And you know what happened? One of the "small wheel" got dented causing the bicycle to be slanted on one side. We then have to remove one of the small wheel because it is so difficult to ride. So, it is sort of "blessing in disguise" that Joel got to learn it earlier.
